Coach Clay is in his eleventh year with Eastlake High School. He has coached football for 27 years.  Before Eastlake, he coached at Bothell, Ingraham (State Champs in 1988), and Lake Washington High Schools.  Coach Clay has been teaching for the past 32 years and currently is a history teacher at Evergreen Junior High.  He also coaches wrestling, girl’s basketball, and boy’s baseball.  He has been married 34 years to his wife Patty.  They have two sons, Jeff a graduate of the University of Washington and James who is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force and is stationed in Germany.  Coach Clay is very proud of his sons.
