Coach Linker

Coach Linker is excited to join the Wolves staff this year following 19 years varsity coaching at Mercer Island High School. At Mercer Island, Coach Linker had the benefit of working with Head Coach Dick Nicholl, a Washington State Hall of Fame inductee. During Coach Linker's tenure at Mercer Island he led the Varsity offense as line coach and was offensive coordinator.

Coach Linker grew up in Sumner, Washington and graduated from Sumner High School. After High School Coach Linker played football at Washington State University for two years, then transferred to the University of Puget Sound where he played two more years. After graduating from UPS with a degree in Special Education, Coach Linker was drafted into the NFL. After a short season with the Dallas Cowboys he returned to Washington and settled down with his wife Shannon of 26 years. As a Lieutenant in the Seattle Fire Department Coach Linker has the luxury of spending time in his real passion; coaching and influencing young men through football.

In addition to football, Coach Linker enjoys family time with his three daughters Abby and son-in-law Marco, Allison, and Averee. Family time often involves watching or going to sporting events, music, cooking, golfing, camping and gardening.
