Steve returns to Eastlake this year after spending the last 2 seasons with the Interlake Saints assisting Luke Huard. Steve previously coached at Eastlake from 1999 through 2004. Steve became the Defensive Coordinator in 2000 and in 2001 helped Eastlake win their first 4A Kingco Championship, going 9-0 that year.
This will be Steve's 22nd year coaching high school football. Steve started his football coaching career at Fresno High School in his home town of Fresno, California and has coached at various highs schools in California and Washington.
Steve is married to his lovely wife Cathy and they have two children; their son Sean played football at Eastlake from 2002-2004 (class of 2005); their daughter Shannon is a junior this year at Eastlake. Steve has been a teacher at Eastlake since 1995 and teaches Resource and Physical Education classes.
