Week 3 Player Awards as announced by Coach Bartel and his staff

Hank Pladson - Hank came back from injury this week and his presence was noticed right away by the coaches.  His knowledge of where he was supposed to align, his ability to help others align correctly, and his speed of play is something that helped his teammates get better.  Before he got healthy he helped us in numerous ways either filming, holding play cards, or running the clock.  He is a selfless and cerebral athlete that will be counted on as the season continues.

Jaxon Williams - Jaxon took on the role of running endless fly sweeps throughout the week on scout offense and served as a defensive back on Scout Defense.  His effort has been recognized by his coaches and he has earned an opportunity to play on Special Teams because of his willingness to work hard and his speed of play that is consistent throughout practice.

Spencer Thompson - a starter on offense at tackle.  Spencer uses his reps on scout offense to improve upon his technique while giving a great look to our 1st team linebackers and defensive linemen with his aggressiveness and relentlessness off the snap of the ball.  The effort he gives on scout team is the example we expect and need from all of our kids.  The experience he gains while playing on scout team, makes him a better football player on Friday nights.
