A Message From the Wolves Football Association President, Bobby Cox
It's been a phenomenal season for the Wolves, and there are many people to thank for it:
To our 2015 Wolves football team: Thank you! The time, energy and sweat equity you have invested in this program speaks volumes of your character. The hours spent at off season strength and conditioning, Gervais workouts, 7 on 7s, spring football and Gridiron Camp resulted not only in a winning season, but more importantly, it built relationships that will last a lifetime. Seniors, thank you for helping create a new era of Wolves Football. When you were sophomores, you were asked to buy into a new program sight unseen; not only did you embrace the challenge but you built a culture for all EHS sports teams to follow. To this year’s the junior and sophomore classes, it is now your turn to take the tradition to the next level.
To our coaching staff and their families: Thank you! What you do for our boys cannot be measured in wins and losses. We are thankful for the time you spend with our boys on and off the field, as they are learning lessons that will take them far beyond the high school football field. We also want to thank the spouses and families of our coaches for the sacrifices made, as the time spent coaching, scouting and watching film could be time spent with you. Please know how much we appreciate you and your husbands!
To the parents of our Wolves: Thank you! You have raised young men that hundreds and hundreds of people came to watch on Friday nights. How fun is it for all of us to sit in the stands, watch our boys compete and have the Eastlake family cheer them on. In addition, it has been an amazing year for the Wolves Football Association because of your support. From the Open House, BBQs, Gala Event and Friday nights at EHS, we are building a community that can make us all proud. Your generosity through volunteering, donating, cooking, cleaning, etc. does not go unnoticed. Our accomplishments have been many this year, and we are just getting started...
We’re looking forward to next year already! GO WOLVES!
