NUTS AND BOLTS OF WOLVES FOOTBALL

ESTIMATED COSTS FOR 2024 SEASON:

SUMMER FOOTBALL:

• Summer Kick-off meeting was held March 21st.
• Summer Football begins in June. Calendar details of practices, workouts, Camp and expectations are posted in the Schedule page.
• Coach Hare is supportive of players engaged in multiple sports. It is highly encouraged to attend all football obligations even if players cannot stay the entire time.
• Registration for Summer Football starts May 1st via LWSD Final Forms,
• The link to purchase the required Player Pack closed on April 5.
• LWSD Football Registration is required to play. Details will be sent from LWSD Final Forms in the Spring to complete this registration, ensure your player has a current physical and concussion test (Concussion testing is managed through the school and you will be notified).
• Player Pack & Equipment handout dates at Eastlake will occur prior to Summer Football beginning.

FALL FOOTBALL:

• Senior player photos will be taken Aug 19th, and team/individual photos will be taken Aug 20th.
• Fall football required practices starts August 21st.
• Parents should not plan on players being available for vacation after the 2nd week of August.
• Fall sports registration via LWSD Final Forms is required to participate in Fall Football at Eastlake.
• WFA Fall Football registration will also be required and will open on August 1, 2024. Details will come in July.
• Fall football season runs through mid-November and then proceeds into playoffs with the State Championship occurring the 1st weekend of December.
• Check the WIAA schedule for Fall football games for all levels of play, Varsity, JV, Freshman. The WFA website will be updated once game schedules are determined. Freshman Games are typically held on Wednesday evenings and JV games are held on Monday evenings. The WIAA schedule will confirm the upcoming season dates, locations and times for all games.
• Friday Night Lights (FNL) will kick off our Fall Football Season. This will be held Friday August 30th, 2024. This is an opportunity for the community to join Wolves Football in action for football, food and fun.
• The End of Season Banquet will be held after the State Championship in early December

FOOTBALL WORKOUTS:

               Football workouts occur throughout the year. Details and schedules will be shared with players as each seasonal lift schedule becomes available.

GRIDIRON GALA:

• The WFA hosts an annual Gridiron Gala as the main fundraiser to support Wolves Football program. The gala will be held on Saturday August 24th (Saturday night).
• All parents are highly encouraged to volunteer and also attend this event. The Gala is key to maintaining our great Wolves Football program and will be great opportunity to meet other parents and team coaches.
• Parents are expected to volunteer for non-coaching roles throughout the season.
